If you didn't know what I was talking about that is a picture to show you what it is.WELL. we thought it was just lost forever and we had no idea where it was..and we didn't know why it fell off in the first place..one of us might have bumped up against one of the poles in the parking garage, but then we figured it would have fallen off and stayed near our parking spot, but nope!
Matt was walking home from school today and I was sitting on the couch at home and when he walked in he was holding the actual cover that goes over the mirror! It was so weird. I asked him where he got it and he told me that it was on the side of the road on a road that we hardly ever drive on. He was waiting at a cross walk and he looked over and it was sitting on the ground so he picked it up and wonder of wonders it was indeed ours. Soooo weird. SO! he brought it home and reattached it to the car, where it belongs!
Good ol' tape. As he was taping it he said "you are never coming off again!" (he was kinda upset when we first realized it wasn't there).
Hooray! Oh random things of life. Now our car is back to normal with a little extra tape :]
Aww, just like Dad! Matt is fixing his car mirrors with tape :) So glad you guys found it! That's awesome!

ReplyDeleteyou know, I knocked that piece off of that car when I was in high school, so it's probably my fault that it fell off in the first place :)
