I am selfishly trying to think of majors for so that I can have a sister in-law do or teach me something cool for free. What do you think? Interior design? Culinary arts? Photography? Of course you could also do something with technology or business and work for some company that will let you send us free stuff... I'm open to that too :) Seriously though - good luck with the hunt for a major!
Hmmm . . .Interior Design? Culinary Arts? I don't think BYU has programs in either of those, but they do have HOME EC!!! You should just follow my amazing example and be a home ec major and then you would know interior design, food and nutrition, child development, sewing, family and money management, and more! If that wouldn't make you the most useful sister-in-law, I don't know what would. In all seriousness though, it was an awesome major. I loved taking classes like sewing, food chemistry, child development, marriage prep, floral design and having them count towards my major and I use stuff I learned in college every day. It was pretty much amazing.
Wendy, I was actually thinking of something along those lines. and Anna, I was also thinking about photography. soooooooooooooo...we will see what happens, but it is defintiely going to be something that I enjoy.
Good luck McKenna. I graduated a number of years ago and I'm still asking myself that question. I followed a passion and enjoyed it immensely. My major in Russian Literature was/is not marketable by any means so you basically have to choose if you actually want to learn what you love or learn to earn!
Wait. You're not an acting major...? Just when you think you know a person.
