So this is love

Yesterday i witnessed my first sealing in one of the temples of our Lord, and surprisingly enough it was not my own. Matt's younger sister, Bethany, was sealed to Graham Ward in the Columbus, OH temple. I am so amazed by what goes on during the ceremony. It was so simple, but so powerful. I turned to Matt before the ceremony started because of course I was sitting beside him the whole time and I asked him if he thought I was going to cry and he said "not for this one, but for ours of course." He was wrong. I cried for Bethany's as well (I will definitely cry for our ceremony though so he was right about that). It is a wonderful thing to witness two people that have lived the gospel worthily make covenants with the Lord so that they can be together not only in this life, but for eternity. I will admit that during the ceremony I was thinking of when Matt and I get to make those covenants and when I will officially be McKenna Talley and that might have been part of why I cried, but it was also because of the Spirit that I felt in the temple, of how what was happening was so right and true. My testimony was definitely strengthened. Later on in the day Matt asked me if I knew how hard I was squeezing his hand during the ceremony, and of course I didn't. He demonstrated for me and holy moly it was quite the death grip. Sorry Matt! I just love you so much haha.

Fun/weird story! WOO!
After all the shenanigans at the temple were finished (the ceremony/pictures) everyone went to Carrabbas for dinner. I was sitting by Matt and Anna and near Matt's parents. During the meal Matt's mom caught my attention and said "hey McKenna! Once you have kids and your kids have grandkids YOU will get to be Grandma Talley!" So weird to think about, but very true. Since Matt is the only boy in their family he is the only one that gets to keep the Talley name, and I get it too. I will eventually be Grandma Talley, which is super weird to think about considering I am not even McKenna Talley yet, but nonetheless it will all come to pass eventually.

Dear wedding day, please come sooner. I would like that very much.
