It's a beautful life

So Matt and I went on our honeymoon. Cool, huh?
WANNA KNOW WHAT WE DID!? OKAY! so we went to myrtle beach cause my parents have a beach house down there. we were there from Saturday the 26 until July 1. We did lots of fun things there. We went to the beach and of course the first day we both got sunburnt. AWESOME. luckily we had aloe vera. Matt was worse than me. His whole back was red. My chest was burnt as well as my legs a little bit. We also played mini-golf. I don't know who won. I was kind of bothered by the group of people that was in front of us. There were two teenage guys with their dad and in front of THEM there was a group that had two teenage GIRLS in it. Therefore, throughout the course the teenage girls would do little show up moves to try to get the teenage boys attention. awesome. It was kind of entertaining though because one of the teenage dudes had a super deep voice. Oh mini-golf. Why must you be so crazy? I MADE MY FIRST DINNER FOR MATT THIS NIGHT TOO! WOOOOO! It was chicken bundles (natalie would be proud) and brocolli and...something else that I don't remember, but it was so good and Matt liked it and I was very proud of myself.
The rest of the stuff that happened at the beach isn't really interesting, but I will tell you about the good ol' dixie stampeeeeeede. This little show that takes place in myrtle beach is sort of a reenactment of what went down during the civil war. They do dances from that time period and they play games that the audience gets to be involved in and they do lots of horse tricks and that kind of thing. The theatre is divided into two sections, the NORTH and the SOOOUTH. The games are all the north vs. south so whoever wins the most games basically is the best. What's interesting is Matt is from Ohio and I am from North Carolina...north vs. south in our own home! Needless to say we sat on the south side :] AND the south WON! booya north. in your face. ANYWAYS what was exciting is that they have the audience get involved and a few people get to go in the arena type thing they have and participate in the games and they asked Matt and I if we wanted to participate! So Matt and I got to be part of the dixie stampede!!! It was awesome. They gave us these fake horses..you know the kind that have a stick for a body and then a stuffed animal horse head with a rope for you to hold on to. Yeah they gave us that and we had to run around two barrels two times and whoever did it the fastest won for their side. So we represented the south and there was another couple with us and then there were two couples for the north side (Matt and I were on the SAME horse. just so you know). We raced. We conquered. While I raced I also felt like I was going to fly off the stick! Matt was in the front and I basically just got flung around the whole time BUT we won! Not only did the south win the whole kitten caboodle, the south also won the event that we did! WOOT! go us! So much fun. We received these fancy necklaces:
So that's basically all the excitement of the beach. Might I just say that I absolutely love getting to be with Matt this much? I love spending time with him and the more time I spend with him the more it is confirmed to me that I made the right decision and that my eternity with him will be AWESOME. Okay!
So after the beach we went on a CRUISE! HELLO!?!?! AMAZINGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! be jealous.
I will write about it later though, because now I must make dinner. Look at me being such a good homemaker. :]
