It's cool, right?

So when Matt and I went to Cedar Point we noticed that there was a new trend among all of the ladies in the park. I don't know if it's just some amusement park fashion thing or what, but we were not fans. I will describe it to you because I don't have a picture of any of the zillions of girls that were wearing them because I thought it might have been kind of awkward.

Sports bra underneath a t-shirt with the sleeves cut off almost all the way down to the bottom of the shirt. You could clearly see the sports bra because there was basically no side of the shirt. It was just weird..and unattractive. I know it's hot and stuff during the summer, but really? I prefer tank-tops and spaghetti straps to that. Please keep your undergarments covered, and if you have to keep them exposed, why would you choose to wear something that men wear to work out in? I'm just saying.

On another note, but still kind of in the same key...there were girls wearing tube tops over swimsuits at the park and while we were waiting in line we could see people on the Dragster as the ride came to an end. Some of these tube top girls had their swimsuit tops exposed because the force of the ride had made their tube top fall down. It was funny because the girl that I saw at the end of the ride that had this happen to her was like "haha oh my gosh! my top!" OKAY! IF YOUR CLOTHES ARE GOING TO FALL OFF THEN WEAR SOMETHING ELSE! Clothes are supposed to stay on, at least when you are in public. I just don't even understand.

ALSO Matt and I were driving to the distribution center yesterday and there was a Budweiser billboard on the road that said "thank you for being a designated driver" and on the bottom it said "Responsibility Matters."It kind of weirded me out a little because...if you are doing something (i.e. DRINKING) that requires you to have someone else drive you home and that requires a billboard to thank the people who were NOT drinking for being the responsible ones then I think that it might just be something you should not be doing. I dunno..that could just be me, but Budweiser harmed themselves with that billboard in my opinion (I didn't have a very high opinion of them before anyways except for the fact that they sometimes make good commercials) because they themselves were labeling the people that drink their product as irresponsible and therefore the people who do not drink are the responsible ones in society. I wouldn't want to be labeled as irresponsible, but then again I also wouldn't want to ever get drunk so yeah..bad advertising, but I'm glad they recognize people who don't drink. Yay for people who don't drink! I applaud you!

  2. I've noticed over the years that people seem to think anything goes at an amusement park - you'll always see the worst, trashiest "outfits" on people who you would hope would cover up just a little :) The lack of clothes and the full on making out in lines are among the things I could do without...

  3. Ah yes. PDA can be bearable, but not when you see two people sucking each others faces off.
